- Grace gathers for worship…on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. You are cordially invited to join us.
- Wednesday evening, February 1, at 7:30pm. Our mid-week gathering (see more info below) concludes with a quiet service of Evening Prayer…a great way to regain our perspective in the middle of the work week.
- Sunday morning, February 5, at 8:00am and 10:30am. We share the good news of Christ’s presence among us in Scripture and song, creed and prayer and Holy Communion.
- Sunday School…includes groups and classes for all ages at 9:15am. Adult learners can choose between Bible study, a parenting support/encouragement group, and a free-wheeling conversation we call “Coffee with Christ.” There’s a high school group (getting ready for next summer’s trip to New Orleans) and a study on the life of Jesus designed just for 7th and 8th graders. Children from pre-school to sixth grade enjoy grade-appropriate classes. There’s even a nursery class for the very youngest among us. We encourage you to learn and grow with us.
- Wednesdays at Grace…are a great mid-week opportunity for food, fellowship, learning and worship.
- Family Dinner at 6:00pm: Always a good, hearty meal shared around the table with friends. And always just $4 per person. The menu for February 1 includes pork chop, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, dessert and a beverage. Call the church office (419-862-3630) by noon Wednesday to make your reservation.
- Learning Time at 6:30pm: 7th & 8th graders (and any other interested persons) are invited to a study on the life of Jesus. Or adults and teens might choose to try “Reading the Psalms with Luther.” There’s also a yoga group (no charge) that meets to stretch and pray. And the Children’s Choir rehearses, beginning at 6:45pm.
- Evening Prayer at 7:30pm: It’s a brief, simple liturgy focused on God’s word, prayer and song…with plenty of space for silence and reflection. Our middle school kids help lead; we are blessed by their work, and by the opportunity to commend ourselves and our day into God’s steadfast care.
- Our Sunday Evening Bible Study…is following the suggested reading of the narrative lectionary. Each week covers a different story (click here for a look at what’s coming up). You’re invited into some really excellent learning and conversation at 6:30pm on Sunday evening. The group is big enough that we meet in Fellowship Hall. Bring a Bible or use one of ours. No prior study experience is necessary, and there is no fee or cost to be part of the group. Join us!
- The January issue of The Parish Reporter…Grace’s monthly newsletter…is now available here. Click and read (or download)…and then, come join us!
